Konachi Wadi at Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2012

Konachi Wadi is a film about an urban-village in Girgaon called Khotachiwadi. Formerly, the British referred to Girgaon as "Black Town". It lay on the fringes of the Fort area which was the administrative hub of Bombay Presidency.

On 6th Feb 2012, 11.00am at the BNHS Hall (Bombay Natural History Society), a small part of the former black town goes to the heart of the old Fort area. There is no better location and the occasion too is grand- The Kala Ghoda Arts festival!

Konachi Wadi screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the director.

Come one, come all. Get to know one of Bombay's old wadis. What is a wadi you ask? The film tries to find the answer to that very question!
